Representation of some clients may not end at the conclusion of criminal proceedings. Many members of the criminal team accept instructions to appear in prison tribunals and hearings before the Parole Board. Members can also advise as to the merits of appeals and judicial reviews arising from such hearings. Whilst many consider this to be an emerging area of law, our members have been representing clients for a number of years. One member of Chambers has served as a board member of the Independent Monitoring Board at HMP Brixton.
